WQA's Online Modular Education Program (MEP) is a prerequisite for Professional Certification and is engineered to prepare learners for the the Basics examinations. WQA also offers study guides for the various exams. Onsite review and training sessions may be arranged with WQA. Fees for sessions begin at $2,000.

WQA offers special discounts for multiple employees from the same company to register for a shared exam session. A discount of 5% may be applied for groups of 5-9 employees, 10% for 10-20 employees, and 15% for 21 or more employees.

Registration Deadlines
Payment must be received by 5:00 p.m. Central time on the sixth business day prior to the testing session. Registrations received after the deadline may not be accommodated. The Water Quality Association reserves the right to cancel any examination session if fewer than five people have registered in advance of deadline.

Cancellation Policy
A full refunds will be issued if the examinee cancels the exam registration by the cancellation deadline, which is 5:00 p.m. Central time on the sixth business day prior to the scheduled exam session. No refunds will be given if cancellation is received after cancellation deadline or if the registrant fails to appear at the examination site.

Scheduling Information

Requests for private testing session must be received in WQA office at least three weeks prior to the desired test date. Forms can be downloaded here for U.S. and International requests. Exams must be prepaid and be pre-scheduled. Exams must be taken on schedule as approved by WQA. Exams may not be taken on premises of the company employing the examinee or any private premises owned by the company, the examinee, or person related to the examinee. Examinees are responsible for all costs associated with shipping the examinations to locations outside of the U.S. and Canada. Proctoring Information
The examinee is responsible for securing and paying the exam proctor. Proctors must be approved by WQA, and will be instructed by our Professional Certification & Training Department regarding their requirements.
