For a computer-savvy individual, comfortable reading and answering questions on a computer screen, the Basics and Fundamentals Modules take about 40 hours to complete in total. - What if I fail an exam?
If you fail a certification exam once, you may take the certification exam again at any time. On the second failed attempt, you may request more in-depth feedback on topics missed and then re-take the exam after 6-months have passed. You may also request a manual re-grade of any failed exam.
- What if I require an accommodation due to my learning disability?
Accommodations for learning disabilities can be made. WQA must know the nature of the learning disability and the accommodation that is requested in writing before agreeing in order to ensure integrity of the certification exam. The proctor or person helping the test-taker cannot have any water treatment experience.
